.We spent the weekend in one of the apartments - what
a pleasant change from the usual cramped and noisy hotel rooms/B&Bs! Loads of space to spread out in and a well-equipped
kitchen gave us lots of choice and a flexible stay. Marcus was very welcoming and ensured that our needs were met, reponding
quickly to any questions that we had and even being proactive in texting us ideas of places to visit or eat at. The highlight
was the memory foam mattress - we're thinking of buying one ourselves now! A peaceful and quiet venue with a garden to enjoy
(when the weather is a bit better), and the location on the main road was soon forgotten once indoors in the quiet double-glazed
accommodation. For those that need a dark room to sleep in the blinds may not be quite substantial enough, but it didn't bother
us, and that is the only possible improvement that we could think of. Overall we would highly recommend this accommodation
and will definitely be booking again when we next visit the relatives down south.Reviewed by Marc T From Ilkley, England Who stayed

Seasons
Apartments I stayed in the Summer apartment
which was reviewed, very helpfully and accurately, by a previous guest. The apartment is not in a traditional apartment block
or building but instead is attached to the owner's main residence. Nonetheless it offers all the same benefits of staying
in a serviced apartment and more - such as a private parking space just outside the front door and a pleasant and privately
screened patio area. I couldn't have asked for more and would stay there again without hesitation Reviewed by Fiona

Comfortable, quiet, clean, and friendly Others have already covered just about everything there is to know about these excellent apartment style facilities. I can
only add a slight disappointment that the television was not working in the bedroom - I understand that it requires sophisticated
configuration and that I may have pressed a wrong button. However, it should be set up so that such a scenario is not possible,
or there should be written instructions on how to correct it. I only wanted to watch television once during my stay so it
wasn't a big deal regardless. I only point this out as it was the single and solitary fault that I could find with this otherwise
truly excellent facility Reviewed by Bryan

Comfortable luxury It was an absolute joy to stay at this apartment, especially
after several weeks in B&Bs/chain hotels and a somewhat dubious apartment/bedsit. Note to self: you get what you pay for.
Here, I could sink my toes into the carpet, sleep in the most comfortable bed I've ever been in and cook for myself in a perfectly
spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Its location near a small M&S Food and Sainsbury's was great, yet it also felt semi-rural.
Truly wonderful. Reviewed by P JackmanFrom Hove, England

Quiet, spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped I recently stayed in the
two-storey "summer" apartment for4 nights while attending a course in Wokingham. The accommodation is essentially
an annexe on the end of the owner's house which is separated by what was probably once a double garage. It is spacious, clean,
quiet and has a garden. It was also well equipped with a downstairs hall, lounge and kitchen, and a large first floor bedroom
with en-suite. The main area of the bedroom contains a comfy double bed, a couple of chairs, some bedroom furniture and a
large Lcd TV. There is also a single bed tucked around the back of the en-suite. The en-suite was a good size and the shower
was powerful and hot. The lounge contains a leather sofa, a table with 4 chairs, and a small Lcd TV with built-in DVD. There
is also a sky box and a video-sender to transmit the sky channels upstairs to the bedroom. This is a great bonus, however
the sky remote doesn’t work when upstairs so if you're watching sky in bed you have to come downstairs to change channel.
If only the video-sender was one which also transmits infrared from the remote! Another nice feature is the free wifi which
was reliable and relatively quick. Location wise this apartment is a couple of miles from Wokingham town centre, however
there is a bus-stop right outside if you don’t fancy the 40 min walk. For those with vehicles, the apartment has its
own parking so there are no problems on that front. There is a petrol station just over the road containing m&s food,
so you can get all the essentials and then make good use of the well appointed kitchen. At least that’s what I did.
Alternatively there is a Sainsburys about a 10min walk. over all I was very pleased with this accommodation as it met
my requirements and really felt like a home from home. If I ever need to stay in the Wokingham area again I will certainly
look this place up again. Reviewed by Steven F from England

Can't fault it really. Communication was great, as was the accommodation. I stayed right in the middle
of the bad weather at the end of December and Marcus did everything he could to help me out, and was deter mined to ensure
I wasn't left stranded.. It would be great in the summer and it was very close to all amenities Reviewed

Superb accommodation at an excellent price We cannot recommend this accommodation
highly enough. Myself and my husband work in the TVP area of Reading during the week and Seasons apartments provides a home
from home. Each of the apartments that we have stayed in is excellently equipped and always spotless. The owner
Marcus and his wife provide a first class service and are always on hand for any queries. We would not hesitate to recommend
this to anyone thinking of staying here. Reviewed by H AndrewsFrom

Hospitable and convenient apartments Very clean and comfortable apartments and
very helpful and hospitable owner. Good for a single night, and would make a very pleasant place to stay for someone working
in the area for several days. Do check the map, as although just of the main road, its not the most obvious location. The
owner got in touch beforehand and provided a lift on the night from Winnersh station for me and my Brompton cycle, as it was
a very wet evening. A place to recommend. Reviewed by H DaviesFrom

It's fab, what more can I say? Prior to arrival I had emailed the Proprietor
to let him know that we were arriving separately and let them know the name of my Partner, just in case he got there before
me. When I arrived to pick up the key, he let me know that I was the first to arrive, which was very sweet of him. The
apartment doesn't look much from the outside, but is fab on the inside. very comfortable and cosy....just like home. We had
the 'Summer' Apartment, which is very spacious. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped and had good appliances, all of which
were spotless. The lounge has a patio door to the garden, which would be great in summer. The bathroom was absolutely
immaculate and beautifully finished....but it was the bed...oh the bed! Soooooooooooooo comfy. It's not the biggest bed in
the world, but it has a Tempur mattress on it, which was bliss. That and the TV in the bedroom is a bad combination! You don't
want to leave. Everything has been thought of....wifi, fluffy towels, simple but elegant style. It is extremely good
value for money. My only (very small and ever so slight) critism would be the blinds on the Velux windows, they let a little
too much light in (for me, but I need a completely dark room to sleep in!). In spite of that, I did sleep, very soundly (not
quite through the thunderstorm though!). The Proprietors are extremely pleasent, helpful people. We overstayed our check-out
time by a long way (other half was so comfortable, I couldn't get him out!), and even when giving us a 'nudge' to get on our
way, they were extremely polite and patient. I feel extremely bad for putting them in that position. I would definitely
stay again...if they let me! Reviewed by Kathryn DFrom Lincoln,

Home from home Don't bother with a hotel room, stay here. Great apartment, car
parking about a foot from the door. Free wifi meant I had somewhere to work as well as sleep. Have already given the details

Summer Apartment I stayed in the Summer apartment which has been recently refurbished
to a good standard. It made a nice change to the characterless hotel rooms of recent trips, and felt very homely, set out
over two floors. The owner; Marcus sent out a map to ensure I could find the location and was very welcoming after a long
drive down in the evening which was appreciated. I will be recommending the apartments to my colleagues who also travel to
the Reading area, and would not hesitate to use the rooms again. Reviewed by Richard

The Oaks Apartments Winnersh Nr Wokingham Last minute decision to visit Ascot races
over two days 25/26 Sep 09. Suitable accommodation local to Ascot not available at short notice. Noticed "The Oaks"
apartments on Late Rooms, 15 minutes by train from Ascot. On the booking form put down time of arrival as 11am, as we wanted
to drop off our bags and head for the races. Within half an hour of having the booking confirmed, I received a call from Marcus
the owner querying the time of arrival. When I explained why, he offered to meet us at the station so we would not have to
carry our bags for the 10-15 minute walk. This attitude continued throughout our stay, and I have to say it was done so naturally,
that I am sure previous guests have been treated in the same manner. Almost top notch accommodation for an excellent
price. I say almost, as although the fixtures fittings and bedding were of a very high standard, a little finishing off is
required. E.G. Ease of use of the TV (!?!) soap/shampoo holder in the excellent shower (both size and water heat & strength),
plug socket meant that you couldn't turn off one of the bedside lights without getting out of bed. I believe business visitors
may be the norm here ? As I say with a little more attention to detail the apartments are (we only saw the inside of ours)
bordering on the luxurious. Well stocked kitchen, appliances/cutlery and delft. Marcus also gave us a lift back to the
station on Sunday morning. Business or pleasure you will not be disappointed with this accommodation. M&S 24Hr convenience
store 3 minutes (literally ) from the apartment. Pub (The Pheasant) five minute walk. Not great beer, but a large beer garden
and food available (didn't try any). Reviewed by Pat B From London,
